Travelling to the Whitsundays is easy – fly from Brisbane, Cairns, Sydney or Melbourne to one of the two airports in the Whitsundays. Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, offers the best range of connecting flights into the region. The Great Barrier Reef Airport, Hamilton Island (HTI) and Whitsunday Coast Airport (PPP) service the Whitsundays daily by Virgin Australia, Jetstar, Qantas Link and Tiger Airways.
Cruise Whitsundays operates ferries from Airlie Beach to transfer guests to and from Hamilton Island and other island resorts.
Alternatively, there is a large network of road and rail services that can get you to the beautiful Whitsundays region. So you really aren't that far away from your next fishing adventure!
